KinderStampo Febuary Tag Swap

I have really enjoyed making tags.  Really loved how this months tags turned out.  Tags were to be a Vintage heart.  I did a bunch of these, gave a few out to friends.  I think I will have 18 in the Mail on Valentines day to Jess.  I hope everyone who receives one  enjoys.   I used my cricut and cut out the scallop heart and then embossed it  with my cuttlebug. I then used my Brick Red Distress ink and colored the heart.  I then embossed the tag with various hearts and used UTEE to do the embossing.  I added some ribbon and a pearl string to the bottom.  I found some flowers from I am Roses and some Butterfly brads from Recollections to finish them off.  I really am happy with them.  Hope you like them too.

CWC and Wacky Wed Challanges

Well I am still trying to plug away at the 100 pictures I need to scrap for my son's album.  So here is a couple more pages.  I did this for two challanges this week.  Cooking with the Cricut had a challange to use shadow features, which I did with the letters.   Also included a Soldier using my SVG Cuts images (I really love these and cut out 6 for later use).   Wacky Wednesday was having a color challange to use Yellow, Blue and White.  So that worked well.  Will have to add some journalling when my son comes home this summer, to fill in meaning of the photos.  Thanks Everyone for watching.

PS  Well I am a dork and did not get these posted in time for the challange.  Hope you can enjoy anyway.  Thanks

Back to Basics Cricut Entry

Well, as I keep plugging along on my son's scrapbook.  I found that I could do the Cricut Circle challange this week and get another page done.  This weeks challange was to use the cartridge that came with your machine and at least 3 cuts.  Well I have an Expression I got at Walmart, so my machine came with Plantin Schoolbook.  I cut the scallop border by using a scallop edge and merging it with a rectangle on my Gypsey.  Cut out all the letters at 2 inchs, and made a backdrop in a fun star also.  These were photos taken while eating out, when he first got to Bahrain.  Hope he will appreciate these layouts at some point.  Thanks for watching.
