With Valentine's Day around the corner, Love is in the air. When I saw this cupid I knew I had to find some lovey dovey pictures of my husband and I, to make a layout. Found some really old pictures my mother in law took of my husband and I first Christmas. Christmas is not to obvious in the phots, so I knew Cupid was perfect. And the joy of digital images you can resize to fit your project. I made a few videos showing how I colored this image, if you would like to watch. But first here is a photo of my layout. Used lots of trim to make various layers and some I am roses to accent. Hope you like, Have a Great day.
Goodafternoon all. I have been working on a couple projects. This month Janice has made some great images, so check them out at www.scrappersdelight.com. Her blog is http://scrappersdelightspapercrafts.blogspot.com/ My favorite is Honey. You get 4 great images of her, perfect for any card or layouts. I have used her "head and torso" to make me a book to make an example of all the copic combos. We all like working with copics and it helps to know was blends well, and if your like me, you don't remember later what colors you used and loved or hate for that matter. So this way I can go back and look at my book to repeat my favorite colors. I made a video and attaching some pictures. Hope this inspires you.
I know it is almost valentines day, but i am cleaning up some stuff on computer and thought I would post them.
This card was extra base I had from prevoius cards. I used a new digital image from La La Land, she is so pretty. I also used the stamp and die cut from My Creative Time with Emma.
Of course I have loved all my Magnolia images this season, love coloring her and used I Am Roses with some sprigs from the season micheals section.
I recently gave in and bought Some Odd Girl images, they really are great for coloring with copics, lots of space to blend colors. Need help with what to do with these type of eyeballs though. Flwer given to me by Taya, still can't seem to make them right.
Again my favorite stamps are from Magnolia, just layered with a bunch of stuff. Burned the edges of the burlap and really liked the effect.
I always have to make my friend Susanna a sexy Mrs Clause for her to give to her boyfriend. Thanks Kenny K for the images.
Well today is my dad's birthday, and I think I actually got the card mailed in time for him to get it on his birthday. Just love how this card turned out. I was mixing the manly gears with my favorite color purple and had to have some girly stuff, to be from me. I am sure he will love it. Thanks Greeting farm for the image and the flowers are I am roses, Paper is from DCWV and my stash. Used my spellbinders and distress ink. Not sure which company did the twine. And of course the gears and bubble letter things are from Mighty Tim.
OK, got a little crazy making hair accessories. I started taking pictures, but there were so many I gave up. I did make a video though with all of them. I just used some head bands, combs and barrettes, and glued flowers to them. Hope you enjoy, they can become addicting. Never have to buy fancy hair pin again. Got my bobby pins in so will be making new ones.
Well the year has flown by, can't believe how fast. I really am only try to accomplish 2 things this year. I want to grow my blog/ you tube subscribers and feedback to those posts. I am going to try to do at least 2 challanges a week. I have developed a "worksheet" for myself to try to keep track of challanges and which ones I am participating in. I thought I would make available incase anyone wants to use it. Feel free to email me at email@example.com if you would like file, as I can't figure out how to attach here, and it is about 5 pages.
I am also going to try to mail cards to all my family (extended also) for birthdays, anniversarys and such. I know not great big, but hey I don't have to go on a diet to do these, so I find it doable.
thanks for following me and if you know any great challanges to add to my list I would love to see them, just add to the comments.
