First of my 3 images for Progressive Challenge

You know how sometimes you just stumble across something and you knew it was ment for you.  Well I did,  not sure where I saw it now but some one had posted this image and the challenge at
If you participate you get each of these images for for free.  Well anyone who follows me should know by now,  I  AM A NAVY MOM!   So I collect all things NAVY and most things patriotic,  so I just had to participate.  Although you know she put the sailor as the last image,  thats ok I need all three anyway.   So you start with the first image made a project then you get the next one free and so on.   So here is my first card.  Left off the sentiment for now.  Was thinking about putting "thinking of you or missing you"  not sure,   I have a friend with a son in the Air Force,  so definatly make the next card for her.    This is a great opportunity for me to use my overflowing bin of patriotic papers.    ENJOY!

Happy Birthday Card

I know you thinking,  man you have used awful lot of cute images,  but I couldn't help it,  I found this site on Saturday and used my free time this weekend and made three different cards,  so I could participate in her challenge,   which hopefully will be a weekly thing,  now that I found her.   Her images are just too cute,  cant help but want to color, and they are so great for practicing your copic coloring.   I have a photo below of my little girl for a birthday card,  then a video shows all three cards up close.  Hope you will show Alicia some love.

My Dtr new favorite Image

Well,  if you saw my previous post, you know I found   and her images are just the cutest.  Well my dtr loves all things ballet.  So this was a must have.  And the great thing about digital is today I made a card,  but next week I can blow it up and make a layout.  Had to use my favorite color combo on this though,  purple and pink. We were suppose to use our favorite papers for her challenge,  well any purple paper is my favorite, so that isn't hard.    That bunny is so cute, you just want to pinch its cheeks.    Hope you will check out the other great images.

Nursie Card

Well, being a nurse I love all stamps/images that have nurses in them.   So when I saw this new digi store (new to me that is),  I had to have it.  And it was the first one I colored up.   I found a new paper pack from Simple stories,  that is gender neutral,  and although it is kind of girly.  I would still be ok giving it to a guy.

Make sure to go visit  for some really cute images.    I have started with a few and as soon as I destash some stuff,  I will be getting more.
PS:  Is that Bear not the cutest thing ever??

Card for my future dtr in law

My son and future dtr in law are both in the navy.   They are seperated at this time and she is going out on a  ship for the first time.  I wanted to send her a little pick me up before she got sent out.
Thought it was perfect to post also for a challenge at

The image is  from   I had to make this card quick to get it to Japan before she left,  so getting a black and white and a colored copy was so perfect.   Was able to put this together quickly.   I have a tendency to collect alot of red, white and blue paper,  so any excuse to use some is great.

Love this Birdy

Ok,  I just love how this bird seems to be screaming at you.   I usually do blue birds, so this time I was trying to do something different.   This is my attempt at making the bird look like a robin.   The image is from Doodle Pantry,  you can find it here:

Also saw a tutorial on how to make this type of card, easiest tutorial I have seen.

Yep another Father's Day card

Yep I had to make a few Father day cards,  this one I used some foil tape placed on white card stock then ran thru with an embossing folder,  loved the look.   Placed it next to some corrigated paper I got on clearance.   Add a couple classic cars from Graphic 45 and you have a great mix.   I could not find my Happy Father's day stamp,  so I wrote on a little wooden tag,  felt it still was missing something,  so I had these little keys,   thought they were perfect match for the cars.   This one went to my father in law, so I hope he likes it.

Graphic 45 always easy card

Another Father's day card,   Graphic 45 is so easy to make a card,  whether you want simple or extravagant you can't go wrong.   Used Gentleman line to make this quick and easy card.  I am submitting to challenge also at

My Creative Time Challenge

Emma has resumed posting challenges on

The following is the sketch is the inspiration.

For some reason I am on a baby card kick.  I am not sure why because I don't know anyone having a baby,  but they are so darn cute!!  So I use the Sketch to make the following  card.  The image is from the June release from the Greeting Farm.   I have used Emma's "build a banner set", also her "circle font stamp" and "all star baby" stamp set.  This is a 5 x 7in card.

Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge along with a card for Gloria

I got new Peachy Keen Stamps this week.  I haven't bought any in a while, and I haven't participated in a challenge in a long time.  So seems like the right time to do both.   I went to peachy to get some doll faces for my prima dolls and saw these cute little love birds, and had to have them.

So this week was a sketch challenge and I made a 5 x 7 card for Gloria.    Gloria is going to be celebrating 19 years with her hubby,  so these love birds were fitting for them also.

Deadline is quick for the peachy challenge, but here is the link if you hurry:
Here is a pic of my card:

If you would like to participate in Gloria's challenge here is her link:

I look forward to many more peachy challenges.
