Christmas Gift Card Holders

For my continuing Christmas series I am making Gift Card Holders.   These are simple to make for Christmas or any gift giving occasion.  I gather my influence from Sandy Allnock.   I am using 3 different stamp sets here for inspiration.  I have an attached video to show you how I made this, plus the supply list for the this Holders below.
I start out with out with 4 1/2 x 11in paper.  Score the paper at 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 6 1/2.        Fold in half on the center score mark.  Find you a die to cut out out the section for your gift card.  I havr used the oval from the stitched framelits,  the square would work well to.  You can use label, or some other punches of you like.  Make sure to leave enough space at the bottom to put your tape, so don't place your die to low.   You can see this in the video.  You will place tape to secure the middle closed after its cut at the bottom, then fold the other two side closed to make card.  Then it's time to decorate from panel.  I used the tree and reindeer from Santa Sleigh, then filled in with gifts, bear and stockings.  I used the watercolor pencils to fill in some coloring.  I placed whisper white panels on the inside also and decorated the top panel with the wreaths.  The other two cards are made with Christmas Pines and Star of Night.  The supply list is below for all these cards.   Below is also a video of  Santa Sleigh card.  If you have any questions feel free to email me.

Camper Christmas with Stampin Up

Hi Everyone!!   Continuing the Christmas Spirit  this July,  I have a new card using a camper.  My parents went camping this week, so I felt inspired.   This set is in the Annual Catalog carried over from the last years Holiday Catalog.   It is a great set to use for the whole year.  It has sentiments for all season long.  Plus comes in handy for your favorite camper,  we know who that will be in my family, so guess who this card is going to?
Well getting to it.  This card is the typical A2 size card.  There is a video below for you to watch, and also a supply list below with a  to my stampin up link open 24/7 days week.   If you have any questions or would like a catalog  feel free to email me at
So keeping with Christmas Spirit we start with a piece of thick Whisper White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded in half 4 1/4,  it is easier to score this because it is so thick, but defiantly use your bone folder to get a good crease.   Then layer your Cherry cobbler which I used a thinner layer this time,  4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Then the Garden Green layer on top of this will be my typical 4 x 5 1/4 layer,  I really like that extra pop of color under the layer.   Now before I go placing our Flags on Ifind it easier to stamp our little Christmas tree and snow man in the lower left hand corner of the green corner.  Then you can punch your angles out of the pieces of designer paper that are cut 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, in wide, approx 4 in long.  These all are placed to the right of our stamp images in corner.  And our large camper image will be stamped on a piece of thick whisper white 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 paper, and  will be place over the top portion of the card.  I chose to color my image with watercolor pencils and used a blender pen to smooth out.  You can use the water pen, but you are better off with watercolor paper if you do that.  Also if you using watercolor paper you can using ink pap and water pen.  You can color with just markers.  Lastly I stamped out the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and punched out the the classic label punch and placed at bottom.   I hope you enjoy, this card.
